The largest free-to-access beach is just past the Luca Ferrari marina.

During the bathing season, from May 1 to September 30, it is forbidden to take dogs onto the beaches, even at night.
During the rest of the year, dogs are permitted on the beach.

There is a fenced-off area for exercising dogs inside Parco di Villa Fiske, above the town in Via Costa Lupara.

There are no cinemas in Alassio.

Every Saturday morning from 08:00 to 13:00 the weekly market is held in in Piazza Paccini and Via Diaz featuring 76 stallholders selling both food products and other goods.

Alassio offers a huge number of opportunities for anyone who likes walking.
For simple but enjoyable walks, you can stroll along the shore as far as La Cappelletta and the marina, or in the opposite direction to Laigueglia.
If you enjoy a more challenging walk, the hills offer lots of hiking trails along ancient tracks and footpaths in the beautiful green countryside. Discover these trails for yourself!

Here are some helpful suggestions for cycling along the Alassio cyclepath, either unaccompanied or as part of a guided ride

Swimming lessons in the pool, sailing lessons, wave walking lessons, surfing lessons, scuba diving and diving lessons, mermaiding lessons.

A number of boat trips leave from Luca Ferrari marina, ranging from simple tours of Gallinara island to snorkelling excursions of Gallinara island, trips to watch sea animals and diving trips.

Gallinara island is not open to visitors, all boat trips circle the island but cannot land there.
