Giardini di Villa della Pergola

The park of Villa della Pergola, restored by architect and landscape architect Paolo Pejrone, has preserved its original dimensions and skilfully combines Mediterranean flora and rare exotic plants.
This is why it is considered a rare example of an English garden in our country. Maritime pines, carob trees, olive trees, almond trees, cypresses, holm oaks and an amazing collection of citrus trees coexist with eucalyptus plants, jacaranda, araucarias, giant strelizias and diksonias from all over the world.
Seasonal blossoming of tumbergias, spireas, hydrangeas, oleanders, bougainvilleas, solanum and jasmine surprise and delight visitors in an enchanting journey of scents and colours.
The Villa della Pergola path of the senses is a unique place where nature, history and charm blend together.
Guided tours every day only by pre-booking, from March to October: each period offers visitors a different and incredible display, an explosion of scents and colours that varies according to the flowering calendar.

ACCESSIBILITY Most of the gardens can be visited by people with disabilities. Only a few small areas are not accessible due to the morphology of the land and the presence of small stone steps.

HOW TO GET THERE The gardens can be reached on foot in about 20 minutes from the centre of Alassio. Private cars are not admitted.
